Forty-one years ago, our Prime Minister was Pierre Trudeau, Oscar Peterson and Anne Murray won a Grammy, and the CN tower was completed. There’s nothing like getting in the Christmas spirit. People say I start decorating for Christmas too soon. They say it’s ridiculous how stores start selling Christmas decor right after Halloween. They say 54 days is more than enough time to purchase everything you need for Christmas. Ha! Not in my world.

 I absolutely LOVE going to the Ashley Warehouse Sale. The moment I get the warehouse map I study it and go to each section.The Christmas decor section – I can’t say enough about it! The displays are inspiring. They have everything I need to update my yearly Christmas theme!

 The entertainment selection – to die for. Crystal, stainless steel serving ware, decorative serving plates, wood and pewter platters – oh my!! Entertain like a Diva.

I also bought fabulous candle sticks which I was all to happy to use this week when I set my table. By the way – the table cloth and placemats were bought at last year’s warehouse sale! mom who runs blog

    I love…love…love this sale. I drive three hours to get there. I love to come with my girlfriends and then another trip with my husband. We come at least twice each year. We are “Seniors” and have downsized our living space in the last year but I always find something great to decorate my new home. Don’t ever stop this sale. It is a highlight of the Fall season.

    I look so forward to this sale every year because I find some wonderful gifts for my family and friends who live outside of Ontario. I know I found a wonderful mug for my good friend that “Jesus is the reason for the season”. That is her favourite and zip only wish there was more because I would have bought them all.

    Went there last year and it was great! High end items and large warehouse, people in the warehouse are polite and nice (unlike other warehouse sales…). Definitely gonna return this year!

    I went with my daughter and got all kinds of gifts for others, but couldn’t bring myself to buy a teapot I really loved, but I wasn’t there to buy for me.
    Well, my daughter travelled back from out of town to get that teapot for my husband and I and we love it to this day!
