Whether you’re at a barbecue or on your balcony, from The Outdoor Art Exhibition at Nathan Philips Square to The Honda Indy, from The Craft Beer Fest at Liberty Village to jumping up at Caribana, it’s time to go outside. Here’s our itinerary for the month of July, we hope to see you around.
July 8th Head to The Outdoor Art Exhibition, which starts on the 8th to the 10th July. Bring a hat, since it takes a few hours to go through all the inspiring art and craft. JB+ DG is a collective we are excited to see, make sure you take a look at their decorative feathers- hand made in wood.
Set the table for brunch after the art show using Grace serveware by Guzzini. Made of re-usable thermoplastic, the Italian designs are not only great for outdoor entertaining but kind to the environment. Now, head west, it’s time for a beer.
July 14th The Craft Beer Fest at Liberty Village promises to be the summer event for beer connoisseurs. We got the skinny, from ale to lager, in an interview with Toronto’s beer whisperer last fall. Click here to get his take on a great brew and ours on what to serve it in.
On your balcony, relax and try the new cold ones you just picked up and barbecue to your hearts desire. Try our Artesano B.B.Q plates from V&B to make the meal complete and then head to our home at 55 Bloor Street West.
July 14th We are proud to, once again, sponsor The Honda Indy in conjunction with Waterford. We hope you will join us at 12pm for a chance to win your own 20 piece set of Jasper Conran china and a chance to meet Josef Newgarden last year’s Honda Indy winner and driver Ryan Hunter-Reay for the Waterford trophy unveiling. Remember, we are the ones who balanced a race car on Wedgwood tea cups and vouched for the strength of bone china in our Honda Indy post, where we challenged a race car driver and bone china to a duel. Click here for more. Please Visit William Ashley’s display at Exhibition Place from Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17th near the Hospitality Suites.
While you are visiting us, make sure to check out the new Vibrance pattern by Wedgwood, as sturdy as it is bright. But, enough of indoors.
July 30th It is time to jump up! Caribana is back and we will be dancing until we drop, winding, laughing and shimmying to the beat. Hot enough for you?
Make a splash by the pool, after the dancing’s done, with A La Plage dinnerware. Cool down, and reflect on the month of July. There is truly never a dull moment in T.O.
